Celebrate Independence Day the Small-Town Way

A Beloved Summer Tradition
There's no better place to celebrate the Fourth of July than a town that takes its American pride seriously. Kingsville's annual 4th of July Parade is one of the community's most beloved summer traditions — a classic, marching-band-and-floats celebration that draws families from across Kleberg County to line the streets and cheer together.
The parade has been part of Kingsville's fabric for generations, and this year is no exception. Come early, grab a spot along the route, and enjoy a morning that's as all-American as it gets.
The Parade
-
Pre-Parade Celebration
9:30 a.m. · Judges' viewing stand
The festivities kick off at 9:30 a.m. at the judges' viewing stand with live music and celebration to warm up the crowd before the procession begins.
-
The Procession
11:00 a.m. · Bellvue Ave → Chapman Rd
The parade steps off promptly at 11:00 a.m. from Bellvue Avenue, heading down Bradshaw Road where participants pause for the National Anthem at the reviewing stand, then continues along Jerusalem Road, ending near St. Paul's Church at Chapman Road.
-
After the Parade
Maggie Salinas Pavilion
Once the last float passes, head to the Maggie Salinas Pavilion for free hot dogs, cake, and an awards ceremony honoring the best parade entries. The fun continues with a free Pet, Bike & People Parade — complete with a costume contest and prizes across multiple categories. A great way to let the kids (and pets) join in on the action.
Awards
The parade recognizes outstanding entries with cash prizes:
- Mary Frances Shepperd Award — Best Entry in Parade: $150
- Best Interpretation of Theme — 1st Place: $150 · 2nd Place: $100 · 3rd Place: $50
